Hey everyone, I’m Kari (rhymes with calamari). I’m 25 years old and I went to Michigan State University where I studied Advertising and Film Studies. In college I performed with an improv comedy group for three years, so I like to think I have a finely tuned sense of humor and I can speak in front of large crowds without breaking into a cold sweat.

I’m passionate about film, music, literature, and popular culture, and it’s highly unlikely that you can send me a YouTube video I haven’t seen already. I know all the words to Toy Story and I’d be hard-pressed to find a better TV show than The Simpsons (seasons 2-10, of course). I love live music, (even though I can’t for the life of me play an instrument) and I enjoy spending time in Detroit exploring the city. In 2007 I spent the summer studying abroad in Italy, which ignited a wanderlust that has yet to be extinguished. I have a cat named Frank that I love maybe a little too much.

It’s my dream to one day accept the Academy Award for best picture, but for now I’m excited to start working with the great people at Epic Motion and help tell amazing stories!
