Introducing Sean from the Epic Motion Team…

Sean

Sean has been around for about as long as we have been in business. He started as an editor, transitioned to shooting, and is now one of our main editors. I’m extremely grateful to have him as a part of our team. He’s a dear friend, loyal, and dedicated.

From Sean:
I’m Sean. I’m 27 and have been married to Tessa for 6 years. We have two lovely daughters Emerson (4 yrs.) and Sören (20 mo.). I spend my days buying parts for military vehicles, and by night I am found playing with my girls, having fun with my wife and sitting at my computer editing for Epic Motion. If “spare time” existed for me I would spend it working out and improving my photography skills…. and of course, dreaming up a perfect movie.

I met Ryan in college and have been inspired by his passion for video since day one. Nine years later…. Epic Motion is a company that I’m super proud to work for!

10 things you might not know about me…
1. I m a horibal spellar
2. I weighed 11 pounds at birth
3. I proposed to my wife after 3 months of dating…. and she said Yes!!!
4. I have never broken a bone.
5. I failed my first driving test.
6. My dream is to make a film.
7. I can dunk a basketball.
8. I had a very real fear of aliens in highschool.
9. Even though I played soccer and basketball for many years through jr. high, highschool, and college, I have NO interest in watching/reading/ or talking about professional sports.
10. I’m originally from Boston.

One of my favorite weddings to edit was Kate and Mike’s. They are a beautiful couple and really showed their love for each other throughout the day. As an editor I try to get a sense of the couple and use that to create their story. For Mike and Kate, their individual personalities and chemistry with each other made for a very enjoyable edit – and – what I believe to be a great representation of them as a couple. It’s these types of weddings that stand out and allow me to create the best possible story!

What is he? ‘He’s a ???’

‘He’s a great guy,’ that’s what it should say.

This was a lot of fun to read – it’s nice to see who’s working hard behind the scenes to turn-out so many great wedding videos. The 10 things was a nice touch ;) I too am an embarrassingly bas speller. Keep up the amazing work!
