Last month we celebrated another night of NACE awards. NACE is a catering association that I am a member of. I know – you might think it’s weird that we specialize in wedding video and I’m a part of a catering association… but trust me – NACE has been one of the best groups I’ve been a part of. There are all sorts of industry professionals who belong – caterers, photographers, videographers, DJs, florists, event designers – the list goes on… If that’s not exciting enough, I also serve on the board for our Detroit Chapter – very fun stuff!

Last month we had our annual awards night and Epic Motion won the award for Best Event, Technical Support for the wedding of Mary Caitlin and Bryan that we shot in West Palm Beach, Florida as one of our destination weddings this year. It was an honor since the competition included some incredibly talented companies (and good friends of ours) – including the Royal Park Hotel, VideoMagic Productions, Fabulous Events, and Chair Covers & Linens. This was the second year in a row that we won this award.

FYI – the theme of the night was “Bring on the Bling”… I typically don’t wear thick silver chains around my neck. Seriously.
