Ok, how come it says 40 votes have been cast but only 37 are counted? The same people better not be trying to vote multiple times! Can’t wait to see who wins!

Great idea for a contest! We are doing the same thing on our blog… I wonder if we have any submissions in common? :)
This is a wonderful idea for a contest. A friend in Madison had told me about it, and I wanted to check it out myself. After reading through each of these touching stories and wiping back a few tears, I was truly having a hard time deciding which to vote for. There are some impressive stories. Then I came across the last one (Rebekah & Ryan). Wow! It simply left me speechless. I had to read it again to make sure I hadn’t imagined such a piece of writing. I find myself still at a loss for words when I think about it. Who could write something like that, and publicly display it for all to see? Yes, I am sure there was a beautiful story behind all those commas, run-on sentences, and neglected proper nouns…but somehow all that I could see was the butchered and mangled writing. Please have all contestants edit their submissions before posting, so that people take this contest seriously. It just looks tacky, and it’s not fair to those contestants who took the time to write a proper story.

I’m very disappointed. I tried on several occasions (at different times of the day) to cast my vote in “The Love Story: Stories and Voting (it’s live!)” contest and I’ve been thwarted each time. I registered successfully (received my return contact email), but was not able to click on Dayna and Mike’s love story as I wished. The voting ends tomorrow (8/24) and I’m not able to vote. I wonder how many other people have experienced a similar problem? It seems like this ‘contest’ may be a sham!

As some of you may remember, a few weeks ago I asked everyone to vote for me for my wedding story from a local videographer. Today is the last day of voting, and I need a lot of help. My fiancee, who puts up with my HD and GD addiction (rectruing two GD and one HD right now) and I were entered as finalists for a love story contest. Whoever receives the most votes gets their love story shot for free. If you all wouldn’t mind taking 30 seconds and registering and voting for Rachel and Andy, we would really appreciate it.
