It’s a faceoff… a dual… a battle.. errr…

It’s a film festival – wedding-style!

This is going to be a really neat-o event for brides and grooms shopping for a cinematographer for their wedding and for wedding film studios to show off their stuff on the big screen at The Main Art Theatre in Royal Oak, Michigan (my home town, baby!).

The festival is on May 6th, 2009 at 6:45pm. The address to the theater is 118 North Main Street in downtown Royal Oak. This is a FREE event…

Awards will be given out that evening and everyone will have a chance to vote for The People’s Choice Award and MIVA members will vote for The Professional Filmmaker’s Award.

For people that are looking to hire a cinematographer, we think this event will be special in that not only will you be able to see the best work from around town, but you’ll also be able to meet the studio owners!

We are inviting past clients, potential clients, friends, family, and other wedding vendors – we really believe our industry is changing and we want people to see what it is that we’re talking about. Seating is limited to the first 125. The event is FREE, but you must REGISTER online… so do it now!
