December was a fun month.  I took a road trip along with my friend Erik, my Canon A1, Glidecam, Firestore Harddrive, and snacks.  We headed to Boilermaker country – I think that means somewhere in Indiana – to meet up with our friends John and Jen Moon of Northernlight Filmworks.  They are undoubtably 2 of the best videographers in Indiana… so it was an honor to shoot for them. They hired me as an assistant shooter (although Jen likes to be called “the assistant”).

It was different not being in the driver seat – calling the shots and what not… it was nice as they gave me freedom to shoot whatever I wanted.  I’m sure I make some sort of a cameo appearance in the unedited footage somewhere.. hehe.  There was not much pressure on me because John is the one who had to edit all of our footage.

Anyway, congratulations  to Jay and Michelle who were great to work with – and thank you – John and Jen (Johniffer) – for your friendship and the opportunity to work together. Everyone loved the same day edit.
