What do you do when it’s 15 minutes before the wedding ceremony is supposed to start – and the groom, his groomsmen, the photographer, filmmaker, and one innocent random bystander all get stuck in an elevator?

Yeah. That happened.

Fortunately the awesome coordinators from Lola Event Productions and the staff from The Palmer House were quick to call the super rad Chicago Fire Department who were able to save the day in the nick of time.

Lesson learned: when elevators post (which I think is always) a maximum occupancy and weight limit – they are telling the truth.
